Who owns what hereእዚህ ያለው የማን ነው

Gubae is a free, non-commercial place to read scripture, find the words to the songs the church sings, and know what gatherings are coming. Nothing on it is sold, and nothing is behind a payment.

The songs

The lyrics belong to the people who wrote and sang them — the writers, the singers, the choirs and the ministries behind them. They are published here so people can sing along, learn the words and study them, not so anyone can profit from them.

Where the singer and the album are known, they are shown beside every song. If a credit here is wrong or missing, tell us and it will be corrected.

The gatherings

The date, the place, who is speaking and who is holding it are facts, and facts belong to nobody. Posters are published as the churches and ministries who made them sent them in, to be shared.

Scripture

The Amharic text is the 1954 translation and the English is the World English Bible. Both are long out of copyright and free for anyone to publish.

What belongs to us

The app, this website, the code behind both, the database that holds it together, and the Gubae name, logo and artwork are ours.

Tell us which song, picture or page, and whether you want the credit corrected or the whole thing taken down. We will do it, and we will not argue about it. You do not need a lawyer to ask.

ጉባኤ ቅዱሳት መጻሕፍትን ለማንበብ፣ ቤተ ክርስቲያን የምትዘምራቸውን መዝሙሮች ግጥም ለማግኘትና የሚመጡ ጉባኤዎችን ለማወቅ የተዘጋጀ ነፃና ለትርፍ ያልተቋቋመ ቦታ ነው። በውስጡ የሚሸጥ ነገር የለም፤ በክፍያ የተዘጋም የለም።

መዝሙሮቹ

ግጥሞቹ የጻፏቸውና የዘመሩአቸው ሰዎች ናቸው — ደራሲዎቹ፣ ዘማሪዎቹ፣ መዘምራኑና አገልግሎቶቹ። እዚህ የታተሙት ሰዎች አብረው እንዲዘምሩ፣ ቃሉን እንዲማሩና እንዲያጠኑ ነው፤ ማንም እንዲያተርፍባቸው አይደለም።

ዘማሪውና አልበሙ በሚታወቁበት ቦታ ሁሉ ከመዝሙሩ ጎን ይታያሉ። እዚህ ያለ ምስጋና የተሳሳተ ወይም የጎደለ ከሆነ ይንገሩን፤ ይስተካከላል።

ጉባኤዎቹ

ቀኑ፣ ቦታው፣ ተናጋሪውና አዘጋጁ እውነታዎች ናቸው፤ እውነታዎች ደግሞ የማንም አይደሉም። ፖስተሮቹ የሠሩአቸው አብያተ ክርስቲያናትና አገልግሎቶች እንደላኩአቸው፣ እንዲሰራጩ ታትመዋል።

ቅዱሳት መጻሕፍት

የአማርኛው የ1954ቱ ትርጉም ሲሆን እንግሊዝኛው World English Bible ነው። ሁለቱም የቅጂ መብታቸው ከአለፈ ቆይቷል፤ ማንም በነፃ ሊያሳትማቸው ይችላል።

የእኛ የሆነው

መተግበሪያው፣ ይህ ድረ ገጽ፣ የሁለቱም ኮድ፣ የያዘው ዳታቤዝ፣ እንዲሁም የጉባኤ ስም፣ ዓርማና ሥዕሎች የእኛ ናቸው።
